Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using Mukkidex (the "service") provided by DANDI Lab, operated by LEE SEONKYU ("we"), and the rights and obligations of us and our members.

2. Definitions

• "Service": every feature of the Mukkidex website, including the Korean food dex, food, place and recipe posts, comments and likes
• "Member": a person who agreed to these terms and created an account
• "Content": anything a member posts, such as posts, photos and comments
• "Dex": the list of Korean food entries we create, and the marks members leave on those entries

3. Posting and changing these terms

These terms are linked at the bottom of every page.

When we change them, we announce what changes and when, at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days for changes unfavorable to members. If you keep using the service after the effective date without objecting, you agree to the new terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

4. Accounts

• You can sign up with email or a Google account. You must be at least 14 years old.
• You manage your own account and may not transfer or lend it to anyone.
• If you notice someone else using your account, change your password, use "Log out of all devices" and let us know.

5. Providing and changing the service

• The service is free. If we add paid features, we will announce them in advance and ask for separate consent.
• We may change features or pause the service for maintenance, outages or operational reasons, and will give notice in advance where possible.
• If we shut down the service, we will give 30 days' notice so you have time to review your content.

6. Member obligations

You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:

• Infringe other people's rights, such as copyright, portrait rights or privacy
• Post hateful, discriminatory, harassing, sexual or violent content
• Post ads or spam, or reviews that hide that you were paid
• Impersonate another person or us
• Disrupt the service, or collect information in bulk by automated means without permission
• Break the law

7. Rights to content

You keep the copyright to the content you post.

By posting, you allow us to display your content within the service, and to store, copy, resize and show translations of it as needed to run the service. This permission is free and non-exclusive, and ends when you delete the content or your account (copies in backups are deleted when the backup retention period ends).

We will ask for your separate consent before using your content outside the service, for example in promotions.

Dex entries and their photos belong to us or to the credited original authors. Freely licensed photos follow the terms listed in Photo credits.

8. Moderation

• Anyone can report a post, comment or profile, and we review and act on reports.
• We may hide or delete content that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines. Actions and reasons are kept as moderation records.
• If you disagree with an action, contact us at support@mukkidex.com. We will review it again and tell you the result.

9. Restrictions

If a member repeatedly or seriously breaks these terms, we may hide or delete content, restrict features or suspend the account, depending on the severity. We may act immediately for illegal activity or serious harm to others.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in settings. Your account and content are then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, and this cannot be undone.

11. Limitation of liability

• Content (recipes, place information, food descriptions and so on) reflects members' experiences and opinions, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. Check food allergies and health concerns yourself.
• Place information (opening status, address, prices) can change, so check before you visit.
• We are not liable for damage caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, the member's own fault, or outages of external services (cloud and authentication providers), except for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith; if litigation is needed, the competent court is determined under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
